brand Case study

Cubicle to CEO Transformation

Cubicle to CEO® is a media company elevating the financial footprint of women entrepreneurs through their podcast, digital programs, live events & global community of 50,000+. Their mission is to make mentorship more accessible to the masses so all women, everywhere, can pursue what's possible.

During our strategy discussions, founder Ellen Yin expressed plans to pivot Cubicle to CEO® from a digital-product model to a media company. She felt unsatisfied with the state of the logo especially, knowing they would need to position themselves as well-established industry leaders to brand partnerships.

The old brand felt outdated and lackluster during a pivotal season.

the problem

During this pivotal shift in becoming a media authority, the visual presence needed to grow up a bit. We implemented an elevated color palette, developed a full logo suite, and designed a website landing page and podcast cover to achieve a balance of sophistication and friendliness.

We took the brand from it's awkward school-girl phase to the mature older sister.

the solution

The brand elements continue to be implemented across tangible spaces and events, such as a live entrepreneur meet-up hosted by Ellen. Inside the Cubicle to CEO Co-working Clubhouse in Salem, OR, muralist Julia Kenyon painted a mural bringing life and on-brand energy to the space. She utilized the exact colors and playful elements provided in the brand guide.

The result

A marketing mentor brand became a go-to media authority.

Ellen saw a noticeable increase in speaking opportunities after we launched her rebrand. She is confident that the rebrand has led to “people taking the ‘Cubicle to CEO’ more seriously as its own entity” and referencing the brand name more often. The brand refresh came at the perfect time as they made the massive pivot to a media company.
