Bespoke Designs Transformation

Mary Ellen Hill is an expert seamstress, artist, and creative problem-solver based in Rochester, NY. Beyond alterations, she builds a relational experience that’s intrinsically rewarding. Her expertise and keen eye for detail draw brides-to-be from beyond just the local region.

The old elements lacked cohesion, misrepresenting her high-value services.

the problem

Before working together, Mary Ellen already had a few graphic elements designed for her business. However, these elements were created piece-by-piece over time before she had a centralized strategy guiding the overall creative direction. Due to this disconnect, she lacked of a strong, recognizable identity.

After researching the bridal industry, we honed in on the deeper needs of the people she serves. This led to an art-deco-inspired logo design and an elegant royal blue primary color. We collaborated on an in-studio photo wall installation, understanding that brides want to feel celebrated during the fitting process.

The result

A disconnected identity became a memorable brand experience.

Mary Ellen from Bespoke Designs noticed an increase in social media engagement after we elevated her entire brand identity experience. The brand implementation inside the physical studio space has made the fitting experience feel more novel, memorable, and Instagram-worthy.
